These are the words that empower who Silvia Lawson-Vilches, pen-named Lavilsa, is as an artist and creator. She is an entrepreneur of visual storytelling: lighting is her way of life just as the canvas is her home. With blooming experience as lead lighter and visual designer for multiple animated projects, she is an encouraging candidate for building solid stages in future productions. 

 

Lavilsa's unique illustrative and animated work is founded by her studies as an Honors student at IUPUI in Indianapolis, Indiana (BFA in Media Arts & Science) and her devoted participation as President within the campus' SIGGRAPH group, the longest-running Student Chapter of the organization in the US. 

 

The creative forces behind Lavilsa's work are clean yet decorative designs, both stylized and hyper-realistic form, graphic novel art, and the spirited ambition to light memorable scenes that will hold a special place in the hearts of viewers. 

 

Her experience includes, but is not limited to: Lighting and Look Development, Environment Creation/Set Assembly, Texturing, and Illustration.
